Sunnora - International Showjumping Rider

Sunnora is an international showjumper competed by Steven Hadley and Geoff Glazzard, Sunnora competed at the highest levels of the sport including wins at the horse of the year show, Olympia and Hickstead. Irish couple, Brian Murphy and his charming wife, Catherine Egan Murphy recently bought a lovely house and farm just outside Ocala, Florida, the horse capital of the world. Well known on the A rated East Coast Hunter/Jumper circuit for the past few seasons, this very competitive duo have won several prestigious championships with their European and Irish warmbloods. Not that success is unfamiliar to this couple, as prior to emigrating to the United States they totally domineered the Irish & Scottish showjumping scene for many years. Catherine is a former Irish Amateur Speed Champion and represented her country at International level on many occasions. Not only is she an accomplished horse woman, Catherine holds the British Horse Society teaching certification in addition to the Irish Certification of Equine Studies. Brian has been involved in most aspects of the horse industry for many years and has vast experience as an on-course Race Commentator, Radio and T.V. presenter, Showjumping & Eventing announcer in Europe and in the past few years his melodic, witty presentations have been heard at the Sidelines/Outback Steakhouse Triathlon held at the Palm Beach Int. Polo Ground and at horse shows at Tropical Park, Miami and Littlewood in Wellington.

Both Brian and Catherine travel extensively in Europe, searching for exceptional warmbloods for the US market. They encourage clients to go with them on their buying escapades and have every minute detail covered prior to travel.

At their new facility, Brian & Catherine offer private lessons in Hunter/Jumper and welcome inquiries on sales, leasing, boarding and training. Brian & Catherine are now seeking new clients, with ambition, who are interested in competing on the A rated Hunter/Jumper circuit who have a desire to forward their ability and avail of this couples European winning ways. Here is an all round imported Irish Connemara pony that has plenty of experience at showjumping, show hunter, cross country, dressage & field hunting. Here is one of the finest examples of beauty, confirmation and extra-ordinary talent. Measuring just short of 16.1hh, this very fine specimen of Dutch Warmblood breeding, Parson's Alibi not only has the good looks, but, also the temperament and talent to excel in his chosen discipline. Now ten years old, this stunning looker has adequate experience in the showjumping arena to suggest he will go a long way with an ambitious rider. He started his career in Scotland when at three years of age, he won the National free-school championship over jumps measuring 4ft2ins. He then received extensive training on the flat in addition to a gentle introduction to show jumping proper over courses measuring 3ft 6ins. Alibi soon progressed to jumping in the young rider segment with fences of 4ft3ins. He is currently competing in classes assigned to level 5 & 6 and is constantly in the ribbons. Such is his movement and style, he has been shown in the show hunter ring and he never fails to catch the judges eye.

Parson's Alibi will prove to be a great partner for a light weight adult or young rider with ambition. There is no limit to this athletes ability and perhaps, some day, he can emulate his father, Animo, who jumped in the 1992 Olympic Games. P.O.A.

Look no further, you have found the best 16hh gelding in the land who has vast experience in both the adult jumper, amateur owner, and mini prix scene here in the US for the past three years and prior to being imported from Scotland, he was a multiple winner in his home country and the United Kingdom at the highest level. Irish Mist measures in at 16 hh, he is a Holsteiner by Calgary who holds the high jump record in Scotland at 7ft 2ins. Calgary's dad is the famous Cor de la Bryere. Three of Irish Mist half brothers where International athletes of fame, one of them winning the European Young Riders Gold medal in Eventing. Irish Mist is a joy to work with, is totally uncomplicated and a pleasure to ride. He would be ideally suitable for a child/adult or junior amateur jumper rider. He has won several Marshall & Sterling Jumper Classics including Upperville. He has been a frequent winner in the North American league Classics and visited the winners enclosure on many occasions at both the Winter Equestrian Festival at Wellington and the Littlewood circuit. V.I.P. Very Important Pinto, 4 year old gelding. This elegant Oldenburg is a very fine example of quality cross breeding. His dad, Hall of Fame, is the sire of many winners in the show ring both at dressage and show hunter whilst his grand father, Art Deco, has produced many top performers in eventing, dressage and the show hunter ring. Measuring just over 17 hands, this very light, straight mover inherited some of his mothers thoroughbred bloodlines and he is exhibiting exceptional talents at such a young age. His mother has already produced winning offspring in the hunter ring. We have him jumping a small course of fences and his groundwork is improving every day. A 6 year old Dutch Warmblood gelding by the world famous stallion Corland, just recently imported from Holland. He measures in at just over 17 hands and despite his stature, he is most compact, comfortable and athletic. His dressage work is very good, he can be ridden as a hunter or jumper and he is not intimidated by fence size or color. He was lightly shown in Holland prior to being shipped to Florida but is now ready to go in his chosen discipline. This is a quality animal, ridden in a snaffle bridle and is totally uncomplicated. Audacity has a show record that speaks for itself. He has been competing at the Marshall & Sterling Jumper Classic levels for the past few seasons and has been a frequent winner. He is very brave, has an excellent exuberant jump and is brilliant against the clock. Prior to competing in the Marshall & Sterling, he was a regular competitor at Level 5 & 6. His most recent win is a $3000 level 5 classic in Jacksonville in November 2005. This horse would suit a competitive Adult or Junior rider with ambition. POA

A real brave jumper, this 11 year old, dark bay gelding by Voltaire will go all the way in the right hands. He has not been competed much due to his owners academic commitments and therefore, there are many more years of competitive activity left in this quality Dutch warmblood gelding.
